or upon request from OSU EHS at X7241. Our program is designed to meet
the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's
(OSHA's) Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1030.
If you can reasonably
anticipate facing contact with
human blood and/or other potentially infectious materials as part of your
job duties, you will receive additional training from your
instructor or supervisor including an opportunity for interactive questions
and answers. You should also read OSHA's Fact Sheet on the bloodborne pathogen standard
before continuing with this module.
You can test your comprehension of this module by taking the quiz at the end of the last section.

for use as a tool in increasing the reader's awareness of bloodborne
