Reporting Safety Concerns
Call EHS if you have any concerns regarding the safety of campus personnel or facilities. Such safety concerns could be unsafe work places or classrooms, someone working in an unsafe manner, perceived poor indoor air quality, supervisors or colleagues who may be putting themselves or others at risk, etc.
Emergency Safety Concerns:
Report all emergency safety concerns to the appropriate authorities.
911 (Depending on your location, either campus police or city police will be dispatched)
744-7241 (EHS office, M-F, 8am-5pm)
744-6523 (Campus Police non-emergency)
Maintenance Issues:
Anything that might cause injury to someone needs to be reported; broken handrails,
torn carpet, uneven sidewalks and other tripping hazards, faulty electrical outlets,
broken chairs, etc.
You can call the EHS office at 744-7241 during regular office hours (M-F, 8am to 5pm), or leave a voicemail message and we will respond no later than the next business day. If it requires immediate attention after normal hours contact the OSU Police Department at 744-6523.
