Randy began working for EHS in July of 1993 after graduating from OSU. He started out as a Fire Safety Inspector and worked the evening shift, during which he was on call for emergencies, until March of 2014. He then became a Lab Technician, mainly surveying laboratories for fire safety issues. In 2016, he became a Fire and Life Safety Specialist, which was his role until he retired in May of 2022.

Brenda joined the EHS team in July of 1981. Her first assignment was as a Hazmat Technician with the Environmental Compliance team. After a year, she was promoted to Senior Hazmat Technician. In 2011, her duty title was changed to an Environmental Health and Safety Tech II. In 2014, Brenda was again promoted to Chemical Hygiene Officer under the Laboratory Safety team. She served in this position until her retirement in February of 2021.
